Our client wished to completely renovate this traditional mediterranean villa into an elegant modern holiday home that made better use of interior and exterior spaces.

A new large floor-to-ceiling window slides away in the open kitchen, dining and living area to break out onto an outdoor dining and lounging space that overlooks a new swimming pool and jacuzzi.

The traditional balustrade on the external stair was replaced with glass and aluminium that extends beyond to create a sheltered carport. The stair leads to a roof terrace where a kitchen and barbecue area are accommodated in a compact aluminium and timber unit that again extends beyond to provide shade for an outdoor rooftop dining area.
